Customers buying goods from will need to provide the following as an essential requirement to complete their purchase:

Snaak Ltd is required by UK law to keep records of purchases and financial transactions for business accounting and taxation purposes; we keep records of financial transactions relevant to the current tax and accounting year, after which they are securely archived.

We do not ask you to create an account with in order to complete a purchase.

We do not ask you to subscribe to a newsletter, or further marketing emails by snaakshop.



It is necessary for Snaak to collect personal information from our online customers for the essential purpose of fulfilling purchases made by our customers.  Sale of goods between customers and Snaak is a contractual agreement by which customers voluntarily give payment, identity, billing and delivery information in order to receive the goods paid for; please review our Sale of Goods Policy here: Terms

Our customer payments are handled via Squarespace, which connects our e-commerce webshop with payment processors PayPal and Stripe.


Squarespace supports security protocols up to TLS 1.2. and uses 2048 bit and SSL encryption on all pages excepting checkout pages; our Squarespace checkout page is protected by Level 1 compliant, 128 bit SSL encryption to keep customers’ credit card data safe and secure during the checkout process.  When a customer checks out on our shop page, they will see a lock icon in their browser. This means that Secure 128 bit SSL encryption is enabled.

Snaak also uses HSTS Secure for an added layer of security.




Secure Sockets Layer, or SSL, is a technology that secures the connection between your browser and the website you’re visiting. To verify that SSL is protecting a page, look for a URL beginning with https://, instead of http://, and a green, closed padlock icon. This allows visitors to navigate the website and submit information through a secure connection.

Sensitive card data is never handled by Snaak or Squarespace. It goes directly to the payment processor’s servers; Squarespace and Snaak does not have access to this information.

Our website uses Google Analytics to collect general statistical information about our website activity and how a visitor uses our website.  This enables us to see the geographical location of visitors, and the amount of time visitors spend on different pages.  Please be assured that this data is anonymous and no sensitive visitor information is accessible by Snaak. This browsing data is reviewed and stored temporarily, in compliance with applicable law.
